Worst way to die | White Coat Waste Project
Really bad news | White Coat Waste Project

I just got some bad news from my sources on Capitol Hill:
We set up "Violet's Fund" to fight back, defund the abuse and adopt out the dogs. All gifts are DOUBLED before the deadline! Andrea, that's what the VA's top animal testing boss is telling Congress right now. Guess who pays his $159,500 salary? Who else! NOW GET THIS: the disgraced VA bureaucrat who designed this treadmill abuse rakes in even more: $310,000! In fact, the VA just gave him a huge pay raise: Even VA Secretary David Shulkin — a White House Cabinet member — is threatening the federal government's heavy hand to shut us down. Andrea, we defeated and de-funded them in the House when you stepped up last time. We could do it again when your gift is doubled before the deadline. And we could finally adopt out these puppies into loving homes — where they belong. But if we're drastically outspent and fail to close the gap before the midnight deadline, all hope could be lost. Let's get this done,
P.S. I started this campaign on my own dime, out of my own pocket — but I can't fight the VA alone. Now my sources say the VA is about to spend even more to kill our campaign. We must close the gap before the critical budget deadline. Are you in? – Anthony |

"I promise I'll get you out" | White Coat Waste Project

Meet Violet. You need to hear her story. I adopted Violet from a taxpayer-funded dog lab. She was known as dog #CEGMBN, her government ID that's tattooed in her ear. When I first met Violet in the lab, I whispered in her ear, 'I promise I'll get you out.'But her transition from government experiment to family pet hasn't been easy. Violet had never been outside. She never felt grass. She couldn't learn "normal" house training because she was locked in a cage for too long. So she had to wear a diaper. Believe it or not, Violet's one of the lucky ones. Other labs, such as the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, kill adoptable puppies like Violet and throw them away in garbage bags — like trash. Well, Violet isn't trash. And I feel betrayed by my government. That's why I'm writing you today. I just established "Violet's Fund" to cover our new campaign to de-fund the VA's "maximum pain" tests and adopt out the dogs. DEADLINE: to fully fund this new campaign, we must meet our budget by midnight, December 31. It's the most important deadline of the year. Our team recently exposed to Congress how the VA injects latex into the arteries of five-month-old puppies like Violet and forces them to run on treadmills to stress their hearts. However, I was even more outraged to learn that the VA spent $38,000 to buy "submissive" female puppies — then killed them within days of their first birthday. This isn't just wasteful... it's wrong. Violet's Fund could end this. As I write this, the Richmond-Times Dispatch is now reporting some AMAZING, breaking news about our campaign: To capitalize on this momentum, a generous benefactor will DOUBLE every gift before the deadline to help us win the campaign and adopt out the puppies into loving homes! So will you please rush a tax-deductible "Violet's Fund" gift before the deadline to help adopt out these dogs into loving homes? Let's get this done,
P.S. I just established Violet's Fund to de-fund the VA's "maximum pain" testsand adopt out the puppies so they can walk on the grass and feel sunshine on their backs. Can I count on your tax-deductible gift before the deadline? – Thanks, Julie. |
